Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this Chestnut Tiramisu ahead of time for a party?

Yes, this dessert benefits greatly from chilling! After assembling, cover the Chestnut Tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight. This allows the ladyfingers to fully absorb the coffee and Bailey's mixture, resulting in the best texture.

What is the best way to store leftovers of this Chestnut Tiramisu?

Store any leftover Chestnut Tiramisu in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Because it contains fresh dairy (mascarpone and whipping cream), it should be consumed within 3 to 4 days for optimal freshness and safety.

What can I use instead of Bailey's Cream in this recipe?

If you prefer an alcohol-free version or don't have Bailey's, you can substitute it with a splash of pure vanilla extract mixed into the cooled coffee. Alternatively, a teaspoon of rum or brandy can enhance the flavor profile if desired.
